NetOn participates in the III Business Forum organized by elEconomista

El Economista – Self-consumption calls for tax incentives, less bureaucracy and more investment in the grid

Our CEO, Alberto Martín Rivals, participated in the III Business Forum together with the top executives of the energy sector.

The energy companies made a list of requests to the Government for the drafting of the new Royal Decree on self-consumption. All of them agreed that the basic and necessary points of the new regulation should be based on greater tax incentives for companies, less bureaucracy to approve projects and more investment in the energy distribution network.
At the same time, they were also concerned about the pace at which the industry is proceeding: “At this rate we will reach, at most, 15 GW in 2030. We have to increase that average of 1.7 new GW per year if we want to meet the PNIEC’s own target of reaching 19 GW generation through this self-consumption”.
