At NetOn Power we offer self-consumption solutions to industrial companies based on a local PPA. As a result, the customer does not have to incur any investment, accessing substantial savings on their electricity bill and a stable electricity price guaranteed over a long term (usually between 10 and 20 years).
The most immediate solution is often the use of available space on the customer’s rooftop for the installation of PV solar panels.
At NetOn Power we will take care of all the stages of the project, through an integrated management model. This includes the design, permitting, financing, installation and operation of the energy self-consumption plant.
The available rooftop at a customer’s premises is often insufficient to cover a significant portion of its demand. In other cases, the installation of rooftop panels is not technically feasible. At NetOn Power we are specialists in developing ground-mounted plants (either on customer or third party land), which allow us to go further and cover up to half of the customer’s consumption at a very competitive price.
These ground-mounted plants may be combined with rooftop plants and, eventually, with storage.
In cases where rooftops are insufficient to cover up the self-consumption energy demand and when there is no land available in the surrounding area, NetOn Power can provide alternatives. We offer the possibility of developing small distributed generation plants, which supply the customer through the distribution network, either in the form of virtual self-consumption PPAs or PPAs through the network (off-site).
For groups of companies located on the same industrial estate, NetOn Power offers industrial energy community solutions. In this case, customers share the energy produced by the same self-consumption facility, located either on their roofs or ground-mounted in their immediate vicinity.
With this solution, companies can cut costs by pooling their energy demand and capturing synergies among their consumption profiles.
The costs of battery-based storage systems have been reduced in recent years. This, combined with the existence of subsidies for this type of technology, has allowed NetOn Power to offer industrial customers greater coverage of their demand in certain situations through self-consumption systems with storage, thus increasing their level of autonomy and energy savings.
Renewable hydrogen is expected to be the fuel of the future, being already competitive for certain applications, compared to fossil fuels under two conditions: the availability of electricity at a very competitive price and the proximity of hydrogen production to the end customer, in order to reduce transport costs. At NetOn Power we offer both possibilities for industrial and logistic transport companies, as well as to hydrogen suppliers. All this through the development of self-consumption plants close to the point of final consumption, feeding the electrolysers with low-cost energy.
