NetOn Power employs professionals who have dedicated their entire careers to the world of energy. 80% of our staff have previous experience in renewable energy, with 60% of the team having a background in engineering. Whether technical, commercial, regulatory or financial, our entire team is united by a passion for making the energy transition a reality for our customers, making a decisive contribution to their competitiveness and sustainability.

Our Board

The members of our Board combine profiles with a long track record in international renewable energy and strong experience in corporate governance. 

Chairman

Borja Negro Rua

Borja worked for the last 19 years in the renewable space at Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy holding several senior management positions such as CEO for North America, Chief Sales Officer, Chief Product officer and Wind Farm Solutions Corporate Director. Since February 2021 he is the CEO of ZIV. Borja holds a degree in Industrial Engineering from the ETSIIT in Bilbao, a post graduate degree in Petroleum Markets from the Institut Français du Pétrole and a PDG from IESE.

Director

Gabriel Alonso Imaz

Gabriel is a veteran with 25 years of experience in the renewable energy industry around the world. Prior to founding 547 Energy, Gabriel was CEO of EDP Renewables North America and Executive Board Member of EDP Renovaveis S.A. Gabriel also served on the executive committee and board of the American Wind Energy Association (now American Clean Power) for nearly 10 years and chaired its board from 2012-2013. Gabriel holds a law degree with a specialization in economics from the University of Deusto and an Advanced Administration Program from the University of Chicago.

Director

Lorenzo Martínez Maeso

Lorenzo Martínez Maeso is an expert in Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Governance and adviser on the implementation of Corporate Compliance Models. He is a member of the Regulatory Compliance and Corporate Responsibility Committee of IBEX 35 companies, as well as an external advisor to other Committees and listed companies. Throughout his professional career he has worked at law firms such as Laffer, PwC, Barrilero & Asociados and EY. Lorenzo holds a degree in Law from the University of Deusto and a Master's Degree in Business Legal Advice from the Instituto de Empresa.

The executives leading NetOn Power’s business have spent most of their careers in renewable energy development in prestigious companies and firms, both within the industry and in energy advisory.

CEO

Alberto Martín

Alberto has over 25 years of experience in the energy sector, both in consulting as Head Partner for Energy in Spain at McKinsey and KPMG, and at Endesa where he was CEO of Endesa France and Senior Vice President of Endesa International. Alberto holds a Civil Engineering Degree from U. Politécnica de Madrid and an MBA from Yale University.

Development and Operations Director

Javier Serrano

Javier has more than 25 years experience in the energy sector, including various executive positions in the Naturgy Group: Managing Director of the Renewables business, Managing Director of the B2B Energy Supply business and Head of Electricity Distribution for the Madrid region. Javier holds a Mining Engineering degree from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid and a PDD from IESE.

Origination & Commercial Director

Roberto Alonso

Roberto has 15 years of experience in the energy sector, developing energy solutions for B2B customers at Enel – Endesa Group, and providing advice to multinational companies as strategy consultant at KPMG and Deloitte. Roberto holds an Industrial Engineering degree from ICAI – Universidad Pontificia de Comillas.

CFO

Axel Narváez

Axel has 12 years of experience in finance in the energy sector. His professional career in the sector began as Finance Manager at Vestas, the world’s largest manufacturer of wind turbines. Later he was CFO of Torresol Energy, a thermosolar energy JV of Sener and the Masdar fund. In 2019 he was appointed Managing Director for Spain at Augusta & Co, an M&A boutique specializing in renewables. Axel holds a degree in Economics from the Autonomous University of Madrid and an MBA from the Solvay Business School in Brussels.

Legal Director

Guillermo Pérez

Guillermo has 12 years of experience in providing legal and regulatory advice in the energy sector. He has developed his career in the law firms Jones Day and Simmons&Simmons, as well as in the legal department of Energya VM. Guillermo holds a Law degree from the University of Salamanca, a Master’s Degree in International Law from the Instituto Superior de Derecho y Empresa and a Master’s Degree in Energy Law from Enerclub.

Country manager Italy

Rosario Bisbiglia

Rosario has over 20 years of experience in the energy sector, both in consulting with Booz Allen & Hamilton first and Bain & Co. later, and in large Italian utilities where he was Head of Gas Portfolio Management in Edison and Managing Director in Egea Commerciale. Rosario holds a degree in Business Administration from the University of Naples Federico II and an MBA from Insead.

Our technical team

NetOn Power’s professionals are ultimately responsible for ensuring the success of our clients’ energy self-consumption projects. They have a high degree of specialisation in a wide variety of disciplines (consumption analysis, contract drafting, PV plant design, land acquisition, permitting, project construction, financing, operation and maintenance…) and a high commitment to the economic and environmental impact for the end customer.
