| NetOn Power welcomes the award of European funding to four industrial decarbonisation projects under the IF25 Heat Auction, the first European Innovation Fund auction aimed at accelerating the decarbonisation of industrial process heat. On 21 May 2026, the European Commission announced the selection of 65 European projects invited to prepare grant agreements, with close to €400 million in support for solutions aimed at reducing emissions linked to industrial heat production. This competitive mechanism prioritises projects with the greatest efficiency in terms of cost per tonne of CO₂ avoided. NetOn Power is proud to have contributed to the success of three of the awarded projects, all located in Spain, through the development of onsite PPA self-consumption plants with respective capacities of 20 MWp, 12 MWp and 8 MWp. These facilities will supply renewable electricity to the ThermalBox® boilers with thermal storage to be installed by Build to Zero. This collaboration reflects NetOn Power’s commitment to industrial competitiveness and sustainability, providing integrated industrial self-consumption solutions that help reduce energy costs, advance process electrification and accelerate the transition towards low-carbon production models.
